Bournemouth Beach

Whether you’re after a relaxing sun-bathe or you’re keen to try water sports, Bournemouth’s 7-mile strip of golden sandy beaches might be the place to visit! With many Blue Flags awarded for good reason – Bournemouth has some of the most clean and attractive beaches in the UK (awarded 6^th best in Europe and 20^th best in the world). Along the promenade there is a multitude of Cafes, Restaurants, an Oceanarium and an Amusements. Along Bournemouth Pier you can enjoy a meal with a spectacular view out to sea, or for the thrill-seekers why not try the Pier Zip – the first ever pier to shore zip-wire in the world.

Bournemouth Gardens

Through Bournemouth Gardens is a lovely walk that leads to the Town Centre; there are plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants to visit. Conveniently located just a short walk away from the square is the BIC (Bournemouth International Centre) and the Bh2 centre. The BIC one of the largest venues for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment and events in Southern England. Additionally, it is well known for hosting national conferences of major British political parties and trade unions. The Bh2 is a £50 million complex built in 2017, it is the heart of entertainment and eating out in town. It is home to a wide variety of restaurants, the Odeon cinema, VR gaming and Mr Mulligans – glow in the dark golf.

Bournemouth Airport

Bournemouth also benefits from its own international airport that has flights to over 30 destinations in 14 different countries. Its runway is the only one in the UK outside London to be able to land a 747 Jumbo Jet.

AFC Bournemouth

If you are a football fan you may want to visit Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium (Dean Court, Kings Park) – the home to the premier league’s AFC Bournemouth aka ‘The Cherries’.
